We can advice you on Mandatory Reconsideration for benefits and help you prepare for appeal.

UNIVERSAL CREDIT

From 6th December 2017 NEW CLAIMS for any of the qualifying benefits will be Universal Credit

The Qualifying Benefits are:
Income Support, Income based JSA, Income based ESA
Housing Benefit, Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit.

When applying you need to VERIFY your Universal Credit account. Details on how this work can be seen here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/introducing-govuk-verify/introducing-govuk-verify

If you are ALREADY RECEIVING one of the qualifying benefits you will continue receiving it.
From Feb/March if you make any changes to your benefits you will be moved on to UC.

Full change over will start At the end of 2019
